Hollow Stem Lamp, U. S. Patent 249,676, November 15, 1881, Daniel C. Ripley, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The model is 9" x 6" x 3" and made of glass. The base has flower and leaf patterns in the glass. The inside of the hollow glass stem has a colored picture of a girl on one side and a rose on the other. The black painted background is damaged but the pictures are in good condition with the colors still bright. There is a chip on the top of the lamp. The model is in good condition. Two Patent Office tags remain. |
