Heating Drum (Heat Regulator), U. S. Patent 76,564, April 7, 1868, Jacob Voegtle, Indianapolis, Indiana. This invention is a device to go around a stove pipe to regulate the amount of heat going up the pipe, and radiating into the room. The model is 8" x 12" and made of black painted metal with copper colored metal at top and bottom. Engraved on the top are the words, "Economical Heat Regulator, Jacob Voegtle, Inventor, Indianapolis, Marian Co., Indiana." The model is in excellent condition with some chipped paint but no dents. Two Patent Office tags remain. |
