Geoffrey Dellenbaugh Biography: (click here for PDF version)
Geoffrey Dellenbaugh co-teaches the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Law Clinic and the IP Law Advanced Fieldwork Clinic. He received a BA in chemistry from Princeton University and a JD from the University of Chicago Law School. Prior to law school he received an MA in teaching from Stanford University and a PhD in chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. He is admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey and Connecticut, as well as the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Following law school, he practiced patent and licensing law with Johnson & Johnson and Warner Lambert Company in positions of increasing responsibility. Immediately prior to joining the faculty, he was senior consultant for Columbia University, where he advised on technology transfer operations at its Medical Science Campus. He has been an adjunct professor at Franklin Pierce Law Center, where he taught Intellectual Property Management and Patent Licensing, and conducted the Advanced Licensing Institute.
