The invention is a spool for holding and delivering metal "screw wire" used to attach soles to shoe bodies.

The model is 12" x 9" x 10" and is made of dull finished metal on a wood base. It is in excellent condition with two Patent Office tags intact.

Louis Goddu held over 300 patents.
