Jeffrey A. Maine, M.B.A., J.D., LL.M., CPA, is Associate Dean and Professor of Law at the University of Maine School of Law. Professor Maine has taught tax law at several schools, and he has published and lectured extensively on taxation. He has co-authored a number of books, including: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY TAXATION: TRANSACTION AND LITIGATION ISSUES (BNA 2003); INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY TAXATION: PROBLEMS AND MATERIALS (Carolina Academic Press 2004); THE FUNDAMENTALS OF FEDERAL TAXATION: PROBLEMS AND MATERIALS (Carolina Academic Press 2007); and A STUDENT'S GUIDE TO THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE (LexisNexis 5th Edition 2007). Before teaching at the University of Maine School of Law, Professor Maine practiced at Holland & Knight, and taught at Stetson University College of Law, University of Idaho College of Law, and Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.
